Are you a full time photographer and are you qualified?
Yes, photography is our full time business, we work from a professional studio in Newport, South Wales not from a bedroom or garage.
Richard has recently achieved his associateship qualification with the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP). At this standard, you can expect images that not only display a high degree of technical ability, but also portray imagination and creativity in execution and presentation. These are important factors that often go hand in hand with higher prices as this qualification is held by the top 10% of practitioners, who coincidentally are often impressive image makers and astute businessmen.
Richard has also won numerous awards with the SWPP for some outstanding photography.
What should we wear to our photo session?
Ultimately what ever makes you feel comfortable and represents your own style. (or you could go the total opposite and wear something you never normally would)
Both black and white look great against the white background, using plain black clothing will make the photographs more edgy where as white is a lot softer looking.
Jeans are compatible with just about anything and don’t date, they are a good basis for any outfit.
Watch out for bright colours and patterns in your clothing, they are not forbidden by any means but are they purely
short-lived fashion trends? Plain clothes can help make a photograph timeless and still look beautiful in years to come.
Bright colours can look good if everybody chooses them but just remember if one person dresses bright and bold they will stand out from everybody else.
These are only pointers and it really is up to you to decide how you’d all like to look in your photographs.
How long will our photo session last?
Newborn baby sessions are around thirty minutes to an hour where older babies, kids and families are around one hour and thirty minutes.
When will we see our photos?
After your photo session we will arrange a convenient day/evening for you to come back to the studio and view your photographs. Generally within a few of days from the session.
How many photos do you take?
Loads! We have as much fun as we can, we don’t have a specific amount and we don’t limit what we take. Generally you can expect to see anything from 30 – 60 photos at your viewing.
Have you got any offers on at the moment?
We run various special offers throughout the year and have our package offers in our price on a permanent basis. All our offers are advertised on our home page.
When are you open?
We open by appointment only, photo sessions can be booked at a time that’s convenient to you. Whether that’s week days, weekends or evenings.
Do you charge extra for retouching and editing our photos?
Nope, there are no hidden costs here at Photo Graffiti. We look at each image individually and retouch them to the level that we think is needed.
Can we have our photos on a C.D?
Most of our packages come with your own copy of all your photos to keep. However if you decide to choose a package that doesn’t include this option a C.D can be purchased at an additional cost.
When do we receive our photos and products?
Generally within a week from when you view your photos, however bespoke frames and albums may take a little bit longer.
